something a bit different(I hope) 1-subconsiously I stole the bass riff from this Korean psych record I had and suddenly its being re-issued and written about so I'm rumbled but a good bass riff is hard to find so I don't care 2-i sat in a graveyard and tried to put 3 unrelated words together that sounded cool and these are those words-then the costs said-"now write a song about it" 3-i regret mentioning yard act right at the end but I do like them -he writes great lyrics and its nice to have a young(ish) band I can dig and my son fucking loves them but the half spoken stuff on the songs are not yard actian but I don't mind if you think they are -the flow of words sung in your own voice is a wonderful thing, innit

Me & Magdalena has always been a favourite RPP cover for me. Evocative of a dusty road movie, with distant state lines, sunsets, canyons and oceans; a glorious song about love, memories, loss, regrets and the tantalising, unknown possibilities and pleasures of the future. And I love the LDR cover, too! A sensual, fabulous collection of covers. Thanks, Glenn. broseleyimp

This is absolutely beautiful! I am so happy the Under the Bridge releases led me down this road. It's unexpectedly spacious and just makes me happy! It's very hard to pick a favorite and I will not be skipping tracks as I play through this repeatedly. zq9mare1

What a joy to find this on bandcamp, having missed out on the vinyl rerelease. I'd only heard Strawberry Window prior to this, but I love that song and have done since first hosting it on Radio Scotland, back in the late 80s. This is exactly my kind of music, layered, anthemic guitars and great melodies. At times, it brings to mind another great lost band, The Train Set. Fabulous stuff. richardw27
