I used to work in shops, usually record shops or film memorabilia in soho etc and I dreaded the xmas song come around that filled every place with fake bonhomie and happy fucking christmas everyone once again nuggets-you couldnt escape and of course it would be great if THIS christmas song got played every 3 seconds all over the planet for a whole month so I'd never have to do bandcamp again.A true story about a shitty xmas day where I had to work in the scuzzy environs of music an video exchange one year and home to a scuzzy empty flat with only some junk food and a beer.A song about what I want for xmas which is usually grapefruit label psych box sets that I probably wouldnt buy in shops as I have half the songs' new year song originally done better by BEVERLEY in the swinging 60s and a song for winter birds flying in the snow trying to get home x
