if I get asked and I don't anymore "do you like any new music"I realise I would always say kelley stoltz along with clinic despite neither being new music for donkeys years-it all still sounds new to me, new-old-and I truly dig his melodic ways and ramshackle visions-i once really wanted him to produce the next comet gain LP years ago but I probably forgot to actually ask him-every LP is a reminder of how fun and exciting music can be -he's a maestro of hooks -thats a tricky thing-and a little psych, pop, post punk, grooves, weirdo bits etc all merge nicely into a big sketchy cake-i also had to do as long for him as the idea for this record came from listening to the recently purchased LP re-issue of "antique now" especially the extra songs and thinking 'now the sounds like FUN to make ' and how doing it alone by yourself and letting the whimsical into the brain is a good thing-thanks Kelley!
