this was my favourite song sometimes for my proper solo record last year yet we left it off because it was too pop too upbeat and too whimsical-all reasons I like it-thats our 7 year old son Emile singing has he likes it too-it'll come out one day and top the charts or at least be a coloured 45 limited edition thingy on record store day -I worked as I say in many record shops and this man is there in all of them-but especially flashback in crouch end...

Me & Magdalena has always been a favourite RPP cover for me. Evocative of a dusty road movie, with distant state lines, sunsets, canyons and oceans; a glorious song about love, memories, loss, regrets and the tantalising, unknown possibilities and pleasures of the future. And I love the LDR cover, too! A sensual, fabulous collection of covers. Thanks, Glenn. broseleyimp
