yeh I'm sorry it has a bit of hiss or crackle-some of these songs had to be cut from vinyl as nobody seems to have them on any other medium-its an early b-side but one of my favourite early songs I did -the only time I've been pissed off at a review is this where they just said it was twee or some shit because of the title -the song is a desperate psychedelic hymn to our close friend and ally and sweetheart Mathew Fletcher who had just killed himself-i spoke to him the night he said goodbye and still have the broken glass in my hands from the despair I felt afterwards as do all that knew and loved him-its not twee.'I close my eyes to think of god 'is also about Mathew -who I still miss a lot
